I thought some websites block you're IP adress so you cant even access the site once you are banned.

ISWYDT mr. nacho.

it was established in another thread by mr. joltdudeuc that common internet slang such as "wtf" and the like are acceptable. i fail to see how using such a common expression with an abbreviation for "you" warrants an edit.

but whatever, it's just the internets.

You can do that but it's easy to mask your IP and you run the risk of inadvertently blocking legitimate users.

.......because he's making a point of not supporting a private site financially that he doesn't agree with philosophically? This isn't that hard to understand.

because if you stop being a vendor on I-club you're gonna have to pack up and close business and be perma banned from this place.

I like i-club; from every stupid post about BOVs to the more technical posts.

I'd still stick around, just not as a vendor. On other sites, there's a company that that still posts up about business, quasi-solicits business, and doesn't pay vendor fees.

and we both know it was selectively moderated because i was trying to make that point.

if i said GTFO, it wouldn't be edited, even though we all know it means Get The **** Out.

Edit: spelled out for your asterisk pleasure...

When you come back from your time out, stop trying to "make the point." Just get along with the swear filter; do you really need to curse so much? Is your vocabulary so limited that you only know "GTFO" or "FU"? And does it really make you somehow cool or popular to try and be a funny guy and be a pain to the moderators?

You guys are like the Tyranasaurus Rex in Jurassic Park. You just keep pushing and pushing and pushing and trying to find holes. Then, when you think you find a hole, you push and push and push to see how far you can go. But when you get points or a warning, because, us asking you hundreds of times to just act like adults, you throw a hissy fit like you didn't expect it and things are so unjust. Just abide by the rules that the owners of the forum have set, act like adults and let's try to have an enjoyable place to hang out. If you must curse all day long, go to a forum where that's allowed and you can make a whole thread of nothing but expletives, and act like pre-teens to your little hearts content.
