OK lately my cars been throwing codes like crazy only at low rpm though. Also it seems to be burning something besides gas, maybe water since once in a while I get white smoke when I start it. So I guess the real question is do I get an sti drivetrain as I was going to or have a custom motor built to my liking by he wonderful people at 'Alfas and Subarus'

STi drivetrain. If you have a custom motor built, you still need a beefier transmission, so you might as well have the 300/300 2.5 to go with it.
