it would if the glasses give the wearer better then 20/20 vision, which a normal player should have (yeah yeah some ball players prolly have better then 20/20 but bite me )

but it doesn't.. it will just correct someone up to where a person without glasses should be at for vision

Clearly you don't understand hitting well enough to understand Scott's argument. It would be differnet if you simply disagreed the degree of advantage Bonds gets with the protective device. That means you're just here to argue, not debate, so I'll not bother further explanation.

And you are clearly the expert in hitting; wake up, none of us are experts! I clearly understand his arguement and I think he makes valid points and I appreciate them. If anyone is misunderstanding its you. Haven't you ever discussed sports with anyone? People disagree all the time, and the world is still round. Stop pouting and continue the debate. That's what this thread is for right? I don't think anything I said should be taken personally. I sure don't.

No eye glasses are not an advantage for the average player, as a matter of fact they were a bit of a hindrance when I used them. As for your high school coach, I hope he wasn't too impressed with Bonds high school homeruns, if so he must have not had many players thru his school. That said the arm protector may give him the leverage, even if it's just the idea of it.

Salty, I would gladly sit at the plate for the 1000 pitches, just break them up into 50-100 first. That way my arms don't fall off.

Scott explained to you exactly why the elbos protector is a significant advantage to a hitter, and you dismissed it as meaningless. So you either don't understand what he said, or you want to be argumentative. Either way I don't feel like pursuing this debate with you any further.

If they were a hindrance than you should have played without them on. Ya, my coach was an idiot to be impressed with 4 homeruns from 4 pitches because the guy who hit them clearly didn't become of anything. Are you kidding? 4 homeruns from 4 pitches is impressive if it were little league.

Then why don't you quit responding like you emplied on the last post? What? Am I supposed to feel bad that you don't want to respond? If you really want to stop resoponding like you've typed twice, then stop responding. Let people who want to debate do so. This is i-club don't commit suicide because we don't agree.
