Bonds; a new angle.
So here is an article that calls into question not Bonds' steroid use, but his "armor"...

who gives a **** if he is on steroids. He is the best thing to happen to baseball in the last 10 years, without people like Mark McGyer, Sosa, Bonds... Baseball would have been over with awhile ago
plays well with others

interesting argument he's making.
I'm kinda with Johnny Boy on this one...who cares what is done, he makes it fun to watch the game. It was the last place Nationals versus the last place Giants last night. Nobody had any reason to watch that game...other than the fact that Bonds was playing. The stadium was sold out, and it was widely televised.

I have always said that the armor gives him an unfair advantage, he has no fear of inside pitches, and lets him take full advantage of the outside plate being in his sweet zone.
I never thought of the piece giving him a mechanical advantage, but after that article, it makes sense.

I wouldnt say its unfair for him to use it because every other player could get one made. Its not like they dont make enough money to play a game.

Yup. If I were a major league player, I'd crowd the plate until I got plunked on the elbow a couple times, then get my doctor's note for the body armor. :RockOn - not mine:
