Every other player CAN'T use one. At least that is the impression I get from the article if you read it carefully.
too slow.
At the moment, Bonds' apparatus enjoys "grandfathered" status. Similar devices are presently denied to average
major leaguers, who must present evidence of injury before receiving an exemption.
Bonds has worn some sort of front arm protection since 1992.

I wonder what people are going to say about A-rod when he gets closer to breaking the record, or finally breaks it. What kind of ways are they going to come up with to taint his great career?

I root for Rodriguez. He gets a bad rap for signing that huge contract, but I don't care. He's the best player in the game since Bonds stopped running and lost his outfield range and Griffey kept getting hurt, he had a sharp agent, and Texas was foolish enough to give him the money. Other than that, what is there to really complain about?

I say who cares. Last night was the first time I had watched a full game in a very long time. The only other time I finished a full non-playoff game in front of the tube was back when I considered baseball players heros. I don't consider them that anymore. I consider them to be overpaid entertainment at best. I say they allow him to pump himself-up with steroids until his head pops. And I can’t stand Bonds from what I gather from him on a personal level through interviews and such.
755+ home runs is still an amazing accomplishment, alleged steroid use or not. Let’s give those that question Bonds (that are in decent to good shape) a custom fitted elbow brace and a chance to hit 1000 strike zone fast *****. Now let’s see just one of them go over the fence.

My question is, what if he admits to being on "legal" steroids.... Ones that any single baseball player can buy over the counter at any vitamin shop, is that really cheating?
