they never really meshed well. He claims he was always given fair treatment and an equal opportunity to win; that sure wasn't what he was saying just a few short weeks ago!
p.s. - you'll never hear Kimi saying this kind of stuff!

Yeah, this isn't much of a surprise. The rumors were that Alonso blew the whisle on McLaren the second time... about the e-mails between De La Rosa and himself.
It is sad to see what some competition did to him. I used to think he was a cool character. After this year's antics, I've lost a lot of respect for him.

they were saying in China that Alonso already had talks with Renault. and part of Hamilton's deal with McLaren was he didn't want Alonso on the same team as him for 2008.
I think this is good for F1. instead of having 2 teams always at the top, we should have more now. Hamilton McLaren, Masaa/Raikonen Ferrari, Alonso Renault, Heidfeld BMW.

I think it would be tough being the two time reigning world champion and being upstaged by a rookie teammate. i am not defending him, i just saying certain situations make people do certain things. so its understandable.

I guess having Hamilton (the faster driver) for a teammate was too much for Alonso's ego to handle. This is a wise decision for both Alonso and McLaren. They could never move forward with Alonso remaining on the team. They need to pair Hamilton with a team player to maximize Constructors points for 2008.
You were right all along about Alonso. Even his previous public statements expressed his dislike and distrust for McLaren and Hamilton during the 2007 season. What he and Ron Dennis say in public now is just public relations.
