Note the preponderance of Norcal stickers/apparel/etc.

Note how this is all practically non-existent in L.A. (Socal stickers, etc.)

Why state the obvious?

Those that beat their own drums have nothing to say and let the drumsticks speak for them. Those that have everything to say simply remain silent to let the unenlightened creatures believe that the pounding on their drums is actually meaningful, and only occasionally open their mouths to remind the drum-beaters where their place actually lies.

Now, lets compare the compacts.

For the amount of compacts in the bay area, a higher percent are subarus than in socal.

Thats what he was trying to say.
"For the amount of compacts in the bay area, a higher percent are subarus than in socal." I don't know this for a fact, but let's just stipulate that it is. But how many of these "higher percent" of Subarus are actually owned by members of the "community." Just cause my old-lady neighbor and all her AARP brethren own an Outback or Legacy or WRX isn't enough to justify that Norcal "kills" L.A. car wise. Please. And alot of you socalled Subaru "fans" are all about getting an EVO IX MR. Seriously.

Because I paid to learn the words, and I'm a snob about my education. I went to private school all throughout until Law School, when it turned out I was to "dumb" for Yale.

sorry, when I said subarus I meant community members, not random people who own subarus

I am a part of the community, but am I a subaru fan?..lol not really.

Does that have any thing to do with being part of the community?

Well USC is pretty good but you don't want to venture too far away from that area... whew... Oh ya.. Forgot about Caltech. hehe

And... I'm still waiting for some sort of real mass transit system and all the damn potholes to be fixed down here. hehe

EDIT - Another annoying thing I've seen down here is the 24/7 carpool lanes. In norcal they are all during rush hour.

I suppose it should, although I should say that I'm a fan even though I don't feel very much a part of the community. Hence my 510 venture. But, do as you please. Anyhow, I'll go on the record in saying that when I graduate from Boalt, I'm buying a GTR (although truthfully, I like the LGT, and if I can afford that as well, I'd like to have that as a second car since it's practical and a sedan).

Of course. It is the "I hate Norcal thread."

And we all know how much Norcal-ers "love" Norcal.
