At least L.A. people are open about L.A. flaws. We know it isn't perfect, but hey its home, even if we don't live there anymore.

But as far as Norcal "killing" L.A. , well, what can I say. Only people that have a certain, hmmm, panache can do well in a place like cutthroat L.A. And yes, Norcal has way more Subarus, because down in L.A., people buy Porsches when they are done with school, and quite a few get Ferraris.

So people that have Ferrari's and Porche's are better than us (referring to all of us, not just Norcal)? How shallow my friend....and you still don't get why my comment was not out of context....oh well
Edit: L.A. = cutthroat??? Ever lived in London? New York? L.A. doesn't know the meaning of cutthroat...posser cutthroat, yes

So you're a geologist right, so where is it most likely for the big one to hit, in Norcal or L.A.?

sure there are more porsches and ferraris in socal thats cuz there are more people out there too. There are also more suv's, trucks, compacts, mid sizes, full sizes, and luxury cars in so cal also.
Now, lets compare the compacts.
For the amount of compacts in the bay area, a higher percent are subarus than in socal.
Thats what he was trying to say.

Note how this is all practically non-existent in L.A. (Socal stickers, etc.)
Why state the obvious?
Those that beat their own drums have nothing to say and let the drumsticks speak for them. Those that have everything to say simply remain silent to let the unenlightened creatures believe that the pounding on their drums is actually meaningful, and only occasionally open their mouths to remind the drum-beaters where their place actually lies.
