July 17,18 a 2-day gravel rally that YOU should run
Based in Yreka CA, jusy south of the Oregon border,
GOLDEN WEST 2004 will be a brisk Monte Carlo style TSD challenge, serving as round 2 of the Pacific Coast Challenge;
http://www.teamhightower.com/pcc/
and the first event in the NorPac SCCA divisional road rally series.
Running under special use permit on Klamath National Forest roads, contestants will attempt to arrive at timing controls on time, with points given for being early or late.
Whoever finishes with the fewest points wins a trophy, but everyone who loves driving on twisty gravel roads will have themselves a weekend to remember!
Entries are limited to the first 30 cars who register;
see flyer and entry form:

Reserve your place on the grid by pre-registering with Paypal;

Some pictures of the roads we'll use, and discussion of who might be running from the bay area can be found in this thread;
