To keep moving along...

GTA posted their video for Round 3 last week. I was able to sneak in to it.




Things are moving along on the car. Stuff has been sent off to the machine shop. Packages of stuff are arriving tomorrow. It's coming together.

 

You snuck in but you didn't get to be on there saying "I AM Time Attack" lol.

 

Yeah, they didn't interview me. Although Travis is wearing my sunglasses at the beginning.

 

Boxes coming in! Super exciting.













Also got word from my mechanic that the parts he ordered have come in as well. Everything is coming along.

Starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. (But that could be a train)

Big box came.



Seemed kinda large for a bottle opener.



It did have more things in it.



I also got another box with some stuff in it.



I also had another box that I should have taken a picture of. It had a bunch of tubes in it. I dropped it off at a place that does ceramic coatings a couple weeks ago.

I got word from my mechanic that the block and heads should be back from the machine shop this week. Gave my tuner a heads up that the car will ready soon. Ceramic stuff should be done next week.

Hopefully I can get the ceramic stuff to my mechanic next week before I head out to SEMA on Wednesday. If I can swing that, then hopefully, hopefully, the car will be together when I get back on the 3rd.

Insanity: Do 1000 mile break-in and re-tune in 5 days and slip in to Super Lap Battle.

We'll see. That would be some intense planetary alignment.

 

Last trip to the mechanic.



The ceramic coating came out really nice.



Engine is still at the machine shop. Fingers crossed for completion this week. Talked to my mechanic about break-in. My 1000 was off. It's looking like a 1500 mile break-in. I'll need a ****ton of oil and filters.

 

Is that the FMIC core you are going with?

 

Yeah. That's what works with the oil cooler. But I recently found out that the old cooler is no longer usable. It looks like I may be able to get a different shaped core and be able to fit a larger intercooler.
