Cool, cool beans mang. Well I don't know if i met you yet, but when this is all finished I'd like to know how the car is handling the power, hopefully you can bring it out to a meet, or better yet SCCA. Numbers man, numbers!
Good luck with it, you have my moral support behind you!

sup dave,

the 2.2T has better cams and the 2.2 NA has 1mm larger valves, so they pretty much balance eachother out. if i can get a hold of 2.2 NA heads and throw 2.2T cams in them, i wonder how that will be? i got the heads for $60.00 from ABC recycling a long time ago (that korean old man is easy to talk down prices with).

putting phase I sohc 2.5 heads have crossed my mind many times, but the size difference in bore width is too great to seal (99mm - 87mm). that also means i have to change to a phase I 2.5L intake manifold.

btw, check the link, got some updates.

not gonna see it done this month, i can tell yiou that right now. i'm gonna call off work this saturday from my part-time job, to give the project some quality time. lately i've been going to my dad's during work if there's no job on the planes (i actually get paid to work on my car, lol). that's only, 2-3 hours, rushing.

but so far, my crossmember is gonna get a bowl welded on tomorrow, and hopefully i can get that sucker back in its home. still gotta wait for those elbows for the intercooler. they SHOULD come in by friday, if not, saturday. i know josh, i'm as anxious as you are.

took you long enough!! i was trying to see how long i'd notice a reaction from you. but literally, i live under you. but instead of 'ontop', 'above' works kinda better. so it doesn't sound as homo as people might think
