not a subaru but a 300z with a better motor
This isn't a Subaru but one of my friends imported a U.S. spec 300z to Okinawa and he installed a VQ30 turbo motor in it. while he was here someone brought the idea of doing a project like installing a RB26DET into it. JUN was the one that proved that you can install a motor like this so, my friend Scott the owner of S-TEC of Okinawa accepted this challenge. The owner wanted this project to start cause he is shipping this car back to the states sometime next year. After working on the oil pan, wiring hardness, engine mounts and trying to figure out where to put the radiator and front mount intercooler. the car is now up and running. They are still waiting for the radiator but the car does start and move. Scott did a backwards V-mount for the radiator and intercooler. they have another hood sitting at the owners house but the owner wanted to use the hood that was at the shop until he gets it back to the states. I'll take some better pictures of it when it is finally completed.
"IM MY OPINION" the RB26DET is a better motor for this car.
can you see my STI in the background?

The radiator will sit between both headlights

the stock bumper is already cut out for the front mount intercooler

Scott is the one that is standing next to the car

the owner wanted to use a T67 turbo for this project

and this is me standing right next to it.

just wanted to share with you this since there is only one other in the world "known" for doing this project. "JUN"
