Car Info: Subaru wrx 2012
So it happened, I ended up trading in my 12 for a CTS-V!
There were lots of reasons I did this, and as with many of you being car enthusiasts you can agree there is no end all be all car. So there is always a bucket list of cars to own, and the V has been on mine since they released the concept
.
So to address the elephant in the room, did I dislike the Subaru, ... no, Hell no. Was I ready for change, kinda, but the V was the car I always knew if I could I would let it pull me from the wrx, and when the right one came around, I jumped on it! It all happened fast!!! And as you can see I was not expecting doing this since the wrx just went stage 3 ( torqued performance) only a few months ago haha.
There were so many memories and things about the car I appreciated. One the car was my first and prob last "brand new" car purchase ill make. The only reason I did it was how the car seems to never loose value
. two the car was my daily and me and my lady moved from fl. to Norcal in that car. 6 days and not a prob. The parts from past years being compatible, easy to tune and work on. The car is such a easy car to personalize.
Things I didn't like were few, but the one that stuck out the most, was how fearful I was about breaking the drive train. I never could drive it spirited and enjoy the car too often without near panic attacks and making sure I had immediate avail funds for towing services lol. Yes I was that bad. I continued to mod, because I knew with my granny driving it was ridiculous, but then why did I have a hot rod that I was afraid to drive. I modded because I felt one day I would get over it, and it never happened. O WELL.
On another note I was glad how great of a time I had with my buds venturing 7.5 hours away to get this V with some of my bro's! Great experience and good stories have cemented this new beast into my life.
here is the vlog and timelaps of the drive to the car.
