Hey Randy!

Ya Ive been following your thread on 25RS, and your pics of the stripped out shell have come in very handy (randy) on identifying chassis weak points and planing where I will add frame re-enforcements and gussets in my new GC8 project since I wont be adding a full cage, keep up the good work, it helps all of us!!

Sick, I'd love to have a rollbar in my STi. Looks expensive though...

Where are you going to be adding re-enforcements? I was planning on a no-cage build on my old RS before I sold it to Lanzr...argh....I can't believe that I sold that car...anyways...I was thinking that you could add support:
1) between the rear pillars
2) from the top of the rear pillars forward connecting to the foot of the firewall...yes...that would be a long bar....and kind of intrusive
3) maybe a support from the top of the front pillars to the firewall

Looks awesome. I've seen it in person and it's pretty freakin cool. Is there any chance that the car will be driving at the June 1st trackday?

Mind pm'ing what you paid for the cage? I've got a GH that's got the same thing going on. Looking for cage quotes.

Nice. Just checked out your nasioc thread. Very interesting read. May have to take more time to read things about it.

Awesome project, one thing to put out there is be careful if your using the little V-Band 38mm Tial's as there is a known issue with them failing. The guys at AFI turbo went through I think 13 of them and I watched the FXMD Acura guys have to fab a complete new system at the track to remove 2 of them and run 2 44mm's instead.

Something about the inner machining and the heat transfer taking out the diaphram, ultimately the issue at LV RTA with FXMD cost them a motor.

I think the proper nomenclature is "quack"?
