I'd say just get the other RB5 spoiler. Get the JDM taillights (red/clear) and clear front turn signals and side markers-I think it'll make it look even sharper. You can get all that at www.flat4engineering.com
Your RB5 already has the front lip and rear spats everyone here wants to or does have (including myself!)

dang... that body style has to be the sexiest subbie of all time... especially the 22b... that hourglass figure... makes me want to name it after a princess or a queen with curves like that... if I ever owned one XD

But since I am a diehard student in the old school of GC8 and you own a delicious example of one, I will answer your problem, however this is only a replica RB5 spoiler, but it goes for $299 american which is considerably cheeper....

products by car-'98-01 Impreza- Part No: 97SBIMPRB-003 "Type-RB Rear Spoiler for 98-01 Impreza" $299
Good luck. You lucky lucky man....

Sighhh, I'm almost glad the GC8 turbo never came over here since it has forever made the GC8 style underground and kept it hidden from this WRX bandwagon that has just took hold in the states.. But still it takes us so much work to attain what you guys get to play with stock....

can you tell me why subaru never released a 2litre turbo in the states and a 2.5 litre instead? also i've heard that nissan skylines are illegal, is this true?
and thanks for the links m8

hmm.... I've heard of skylines being imported into various states... and a friend of a friend here in canada said he was getting money together to import one here. If they are illegal, it might be state dependant or probably because of safety or emissions requirements, tho I don't think that's likely.
It's a shame we didn't get the tuned up versions of the older models, I wasn't too thrilled with the bug eyes myself... looks too much like a damn neon, tho the 04 is an improvement, but the car looks like it's starting to grow a bit... I want that tiny little 2 door badass. :P

i do agree. the gc8 is by far the best looking out of all the impreza's built, but you can make the bugeye, or in the close future, the blobeye a whole lot more individual to your own taste sort of style. that's only came about cause their so damn ugly with doind something to them!
i'd still buy one, mind you!

as for skylines, they are illegal, unless imported and legalized by a ceritfied company. MOTORex in Cali is the one i know of. mostly to do with emmissions, evap systems, and front bumper standards.

yeah but still not quite the same as the gc8... btw what does that stand for anyway? I admire the cars but the model numbers and the mechanics are still pretty foreign to me but it does interest me enough that if my art career doesn't work out in the next couple of years, maybe starting an import tuning garage here in Ottawa might be successful seeing that there's a growing market, but no places that know how to do it... other than the dealerships.
Makes me want to buy the used 2.5rs in front of the dealership, but I worry about the canadian winters because we salt the roads. Just looking at it said it needed new rotors and pads, underside of the car is a mystery and don't know how it's old owner treated it. On top of thinking of buying used, I have the body to consider and engine... from what I understand, dropping a new engine into it is just a matter of $8k that would bring that price just under a new TS wagon, brakes and misc work around the car would most definitely bring it over the MSRP of a new RS sedan. I'd have to really want that 2 door to get it :P Maybe if I win the lottery or something
