She'll be cool again once I get an engine in her. Already sold off those power adders so I could do some upgrades to the house. I'm not as interested in driving this car on the track since I have another car built for that, so the engine is going to go back to stock. But that's alright, this car already kills it in the corners.
I'm thinking of installing a JDM V7 engine so I can rev the engine more and get longer gearing.

Love the brakes! And you have two sets of the wheels I want, haha.
I noticed that you're not running the silencer on your Magnaflow Ti, any chance that you still have it? Mine shot out on the street because I didn't realize the screw/nut came undone. Now it's all mangled up from being run over by a semi. The Magnaflow Ti is way too loud for me without a silencer, any chance you have yours and would sell it? I can't seem to find the silencer by itself anywhere online. PM me a price if you have it and are willing to part with it!

Let's find out what's under here...
...it's an engine.
TIGWERKS 321ss up pipe. So clean!
I got some poly bushings for the TIGWERKS engine mounts. Check the group buy on these. TIGWERKS Billet/Poly Motor Mounts - Subaru Impreza WRX STI Forums: IWSTI.com
One stock engine ready to rock.
And installed.

Had some issues. Hope they get resolved after this round of wrenching.
Seems like the seal is OK...
...but the cam gear isn't quite right.
I got that gear off a bad engine that came through my garage. It is now in the garbage. I'm guessing the holes weren't aligned and oil came out from the AVCS oiling system. I have another gear I'm going to try. The t-belt didn't have one drop of oil on it, lucky me.

Thing was like an old-fasioned airplane while the engine tried to come to life. Some smoke and hesitation as the engine smoothed-out and found its pace. Then, the bellow of the Subaru rumble.
I got a satisfying idle. Only took about 10-15 seconds, and then shut it off. I didn't really have time to let her run while she checked her base maps and set idle speeds. It's always nice to hear an engine fire-up after doing so much work, to make it stock.
Maybe it was just as easy as bolting-in the carbon seat I bought?
