issues with UPS

anyone here have had issues with UPS?

this is the third item in three months that i had a ups delivery claim that they left it at the porch. of course, it's not there!

the first two items were relatively heavy as they were 30 lb boxes. this last one is from the UK and UPS was in the care of it once it got here. either UPS is delivering it to the wrong place or someone in the neighborhood is stealing it.

at least the first two, i got my refund but hate to deal with this.

Most carriers will beat the **** out of your packages, but they'll stilll get it off their truck. Sounds like someone is plucking your stuff.

Install cameras?

Install cameras on your front porch or have it shipped to work ( if work permits it and if the package fits in your vehicle). Ive seen and heard stories of both fedex and ups workers.

someone is stealing it off your porch, trust me many friends have had it happen, never to me because i live in a decent neighborhood, but nevertheless doesnt mean if the neighbors found out i have 2000 dollar headers being shipping they wouldnt pluck it and sell it.

True. All because UPS/FedEx makes daily stops to businesses. They have to go out of their way/route for residential deliveries, hence it taking longer and costing more.

I work for a security camera company here in San Jose, and unfortunately I still see some damaged boxes...none missing though.

IF you're not allowed to have it shipped to your work address, tell the shipper to have the package left at the nearest UPS branch and pick it up yourself after it arrives.

they couldn't just have u pick it up from nearest facility? rather than leaving it on your doorstep? they only leave it on my front if it's a small package. they even tuck it under floor mat or behind the plant pot. 3 security cams in front and they still hide it for me.
