We'll see if it all goes through on sat!

Yeah... it's still in the bay area, so you might see it around still.. I spend a couple hours with the new owner trying to teach him how to drive stick on the car. lol. Not exactly the ideal car to learn to drive stick on... and a little part of me died inside watching the Evo clunk and whine as he learned, but it is what it is. lol.

Wow! Sounds like his first car and him mom gets him a fully built Evo. Glad you sold it but I wonder how it is until he wraps it around a light post. There are no stupid kids only stupid parents.

lol. My 2nd car was a Geo Tracker. That thing was a beast. Plastic windows and all. Not to mention the plastic windows were so sunfaded and scratched up, I couldn't even see through them.

I'm gonna miss the Evo alot.... But I sure as hell am not going to miss making car payments and insurance payments for it!! LOL.

Yeah. I hope so too. He had a pretty rough first day trying to drive it, but he made good progress for a first day. Hopefully he'll get used to it quick. Not sure how much clunking and 3k rpm launches the tranny/transfercase can take while he learns.

Damn, and here I was thinking my WRX was a sweet second car.

You would think that family could afford to buy a used STi as a "junker" just to teach the kid how to drive a stick.

Yeah. I see him doing that too. I think he just comes to show off the car, and then goes home to pick up his other car.
