FS: Built Lancer Evolution- 2.3 Stroker, GT30R- 1,200 miles! (SF Bay Area)
lol. Yeah. The guy came down with his mom, and both he and his mom liked the car. They went to my credit union the next day and was approved for the loan. We're supposed to head down to the credit union this sat to make it happen.
We'll see if it all goes through on sat!

Yeah... it's still in the bay area, so you might see it around still.. I spend a couple hours with the new owner trying to teach him how to drive stick on the car. lol. Not exactly the ideal car to learn to drive stick on... and a little part of me died inside watching the Evo clunk and whine as he learned, but it is what it is. lol.
Wow! Sounds like his first car and him mom gets him a fully built Evo. Glad you sold it but I wonder how it is until he wraps it around a light post. There are no stupid kids only stupid parents.
Nope.. this is his second car... His first car was a G35. lol. When I was his age, I was driving a Mazda MPV mini van. lol. FML.

I'm gonna miss the Evo alot.... But I sure as hell am not going to miss making car payments and insurance payments for it!! LOL.
Yeah. I hope so too. He had a pretty rough first day trying to drive it, but he made good progress for a first day. Hopefully he'll get used to it quick. Not sure how much clunking and 3k rpm launches the tranny/transfercase can take while he learns.
Damn, and here I was thinking my WRX was a sweet second car.
You would think that family could afford to buy a used STi as a "junker" just to teach the kid how to drive a stick.
