Is the STI intercooler any better than the wrx IC? If so would an '03-'04 STI IC fit on a an '02 WRX? ...If not, will any? I'be seen them on bugeye's I'm just curious as to how.....

It is bigger. Dissipates the heat better. Cooler denser air enters the motor.

Yes the 04-07 STi Intercoolers fit in. You just need the pipe from turbo to IC and I think maybe a bracket.

 

Food for thought.

Sti came out in the U.S. in 2004. If you got your hands on a 03 it would be a v8 JDM intercooloer (bigger than USDM sti IC's)

Or if you got a JDM 01-02 you would have the v7 JDM IC witch is the biggest OEM IC with the red STI logo you can get.

If I where you I would go with an 08+ stock IC's. They don't have the red STi logo but they are huge! Possibly bigger than v7-v8 JDM IC's?

and I meant '04 sti not 03-04, but good to know... they're expensive as hell too, maybe not as bad on i-club here and there but on ebay they're mad scratch--
