well...

that depends!

what's your "initial budget"? What's your timeline? How "patient" are you in between mods?

Also, are you primarily more of a suspension fiend or power hog?

Before spending too much, i suggest you figure out what's important to you and plan out your mods. Also, speak with the tuner shop of your choice and get their opinion. Along with us on i-club, i think you'll get a good idea of what works, what doesn't, and save you some $$ along the way.

Happy modding!

oh, i started off with cat-back, short shifter, and springs. then all hell broke loose (LOL) okay not really, but once you start, you never really stop!

That's so true! Once you start, you won't stop. I'd definitely say start off w/suspension. Get some springs first to lower it. Makes the car look 1000 times better when it's lowered. That's the first thing I did to my '02 WRX wagon when I first bought it.

Depending on your budget, full suspension is the way to go, but if you don't have like $600+ to spend on it right now, like me, I suggest Tein s-tech springs. That's what I'm on right now and they right really nice and you can pick them up for $150+ on ebay.

Welcome to the Suby world and good luck...

dont put lowering springs on it aaron lol. if anything swap out your struts top hats etc for full sti suspension for like 180. first mods i think you should do are....

-any exhaust (make sure its open bell mouth and not that hks sheeet)
-primitive skid plates front and rear 3/16 thick with the stinger tail
-swap with an sti for a wrb trunk, ver.7 or 8 are good (please de badge)
-either paint your rims gold or get braids or team dynamic 15 hard gravel rims
-mud flaps (rally armor UR)
-and than get vladi to protune your car

than you be set

and dont listen to any dumb asses on here who tell you to put an intake or bov on your car. they dont know anything. make sure you check with someone who knows what they talking about (like a tuner) before you waste your money.

Cant wait to tear up browns valley road with you!

Rally X next month, you better be ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it really depends... are you making payments on the car? I would maybe set some money aside to buy a couple mods here and there but dont just jump into it. Its terrible when someone buys the car they have wanted for a long them, then some situation comes up and they loose their job, accident, ect... and they cant afford their payments

So save up for a bit. I would first go with exhaust and AP.

but anyways welcome to the club! hope you enjoy it here
