New SUBY owner in SF bay area
Hey guys, I just joined last week and this is my first post. I just recently picked up a blue 2003 WRX sport wagon. I'm coming from the HONDA world and boy, what a difference in driving experience. Not to say that Honda's aren't fun, but it's like comparing apples and oranges. I was able to take the suby to the snow a couple times in the past few weeks. Now I'm hooked.
It's a stock motor for now until I can learn a little more about the Subaru boxer. As for appearance, correct me if I'm wrong, but I guess it would be somewhat a 2003 JDM STI clone:
-STI TMIC
-STI Hood Scoop
-STI Side skirts
-STI Side mirrors
-STI Front seats
-STI 6 disc in-dash CD changer
*Need JDM headlight housings though*
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. Don't know what direction I want to take this car. But I hope all of your wisdom will guide me some way.

Oh!! BTW, my friend has a '05 STI and he took the stock "pinks" off and went with Perrin "stuff." I think the stock parts would be the endlinks and what looked like to me were like control arms of some sort. Will his stock STI suspension fit on my WRX? I've got springs on it that gives it a little maybe .5-1.0 inch drop.
What do you think?
