New Subie 04 WRX Bay Area owner

Hi all,

Just wanted to get a shout out as a new 04 WRX sedan owner in the SF Bay area. Love the car, definitely a new learning curve compared to my MR2 SC (AW11) and Teg GSR (DC2). I did used to own a 1G DSM GSX a while back but it feels very out-dated compared to the WRX.

Anyways, hello all and I'm another satisfied Subie owner.

Thanks!

I had some questions regarding the Cobb AP:

1) Do I need a version 2.0 for the 04 WRX?
2) What would be a good way to tune it with an up pipe (HKS) & cai (Injen race)? Both came with the car and it seems alot of the people here & on nasioc say to make sure to use an aftermarket re-flash if you do use those upgrades. Is AP a good start?
3) May be getting a down pipe and axle back in the near future, should I wait for the AP tune till then?

the APv2 is newer and has more/better features but you dont NEED it, a V1 will work for your car
OTS maps will work but getting the AP v2 protuned will be the best thing to do
