Hi all,
I just recently moved to the San Francisco area from Chicago, IL and finally starting to look into the Subaru scene in the Bay area.
I am proud owner of a '06 WRX TR that has been on a steady diet of modifications for the last 2 years that I owned the car =) The latest upgrade coming is a FP 20G turbo, upgraded TMIC, COBB AccessPORT and all the necessary supporting goodies (everything to be installed and tuned by GST Motorsports). Some of the parts that car already has are Invidia down- and up-pipes, HKS Hi-Power exhaust, SPT intake, Tein coilovers, Cosco sway bars, Exedy clutch, Energy Suspension bushings…and whole bunch of other stuff to make it handle and respond like its on rails :P
As always, there are couple questions....
1) What Subaru cars clubs are in the area? I would like to join one, but have no clue what is out there...
2) Does anyone have experience with DBA 4000 Series brake rotors? I am thinking of getting them to replace a cracked front slotted rotor from all the auto-x driving and a cross country road trip when I moved here. Any and all rotor suggestions are greatly welcome.
3) I am planning on upgrading to Kartboy solid rear end links, but their the description states that the overall height of the links is reduced from the stock item in order to allow additional clearance to the fuel filler neck…My car is already lowered, so will this cause any alignment or rubbing problems?
I am sure there are better forum areas for these questions, but I though I ask nevertheless...
Thanx!

Car clubs? Well you hit it on the spot, this is the largest Subaru community in the area.
No problems at all with Kartboys on lowered cars. I have them on all 4 corners.
Look into injectors for that 20G.

Kartboy endlinks are killer.
DBA rotors are killer.
I'd give thumbs up on both modifications and I see you're done your bay area research on tuners as you've picked our best.

Thanks all! So far it does seem that the import tuner community is much larger here than in the Midwest. Great side benefit of moving here =) It been a while since I did anything to the car (almost a year), so I am very happy to finally have funds and time to get back to it again...
I am thinking of calling it "Project UFO" (Unidentified Fast Object) :P I want to create a thread to track all the progress/pics as well as any feedback/suggestions. Where would be the best area to post it? Keep it in the "Bay Area" or put it in the "Ongoing Projects" category?
The DBA rotors and Kartboy links have already been ordered to start the process B-)
