Just got an 04 sti, really dont know much about the car but the last owner has some aftermarket intercooler on there, cheap quality ebay i think. I've been driving the car for about 4 months now, and suddenly the i/c sprayer light has been going off like crazy, even when i'm driving casually. The turbo gauge reads less that -.05 (whatever that means) close to -.1 , It has never been that low since I've owned the car. I know somethings wrong, is it time for a new intercooler? Or is the problem bigger than that

 

Uhm intercoolee sprayer tank is in the trunk. Have you checked to see if its filled up?
