help

i am trading in the rs for a wrx and dont know what to do for mods i have looked int the mods section but still they are gibberish talking im defently getting a 3" exhaust from 5zigen cause i was imprezzed with them from my rs and i can get it for like 390 dollars which is a steal but any who. what are some good clean hp mods that will make the money worth while. i heard about the reflash by cobb but dont know for sure about that. just let me know what you think so i can work things out cause finally i get my dream car.

If you don't want to spend a ton of money. And you're sold on the 5Zigen Exhaust. I would replace the Up-pipe and have your ECU/EMU reflashed with the ECUTEK program. After you have your exhaust installed. The ECUTEK system highlighed in Sport Compact Car WRX project car. The cover has an evo and a boxer on the cover it just came out a few days ago.

The only tuner shop in chicago's west suburbs that is official trained to reflash your ECU/EMU is GRD Performance in Naperville.

I had my ECU reflashed there with a turbo back exhaust & upipe. and have not had any problems.

Hey i have that issue if you wanna take a look at it man.
I would suggest turbo back exhaust and uppipe.
I think you already told me you removed the snorkler, but you should add like a K&N or something along those lines.
I'll talk to you tonight about some other ideas and shiitt.

Your car should have some decent pick up and would be decent on the track

If you had a big turbo and enough fuel this car would be a monster. I would probably have to hang out with you everyday just so i could ride around in your car.

dude that would be cool i would have a fricken machine that no one would want to **** wit' but for right know i 'm limited to the turbo back and mabee the piggy back but i still should be running strong in the mid 13's

i just purchased turboxs stage 2 and i was wondering if any one had any idea if it is ok to run stock exhaust with it for like a week or two cuz my money flow is short. i just purchased it from a guy that had it in for less than a year.

It should not be bad but dont try to boost the PSI up too much. I would not recomend doing it longer then a few days though. You could always just be paitiant and wait. But then again.....

Oh yeah i thought the TurboXS Stage 2 came with the utec and turbo back exhuast? What all did you get in the package???

i bought it from dave stickles from max motorsports got a heck of a deal but all it came with is the ecu and boost controller. i bought a 3 inch exhaust from 5zigen, and i am leaving the down and uppipe in for a while

So why would not have the exhuast on for a week or two? If your too lazy i guess i could come over and help you out? Exhuast just seems to me pretty fun to put on. At least alot easier then a ECU and boost controller.
How about this, you drop me a PM or something when you wanna do the install and i'll comeover and help you do the ****.

i dont have the exhaust yet i still have to pay for it i have all the stuff put in for just about free but that was a cool gesture dude but we need to have another meeting if you know what i mean

128d i have stock headers, but i dont remember saying that i was replacing them in the near future cause i dont have any money. Just wondering what i said to make you think i was? Maybe i said something i dont know.....
