There have been many rumours that Starlite will be happening again. The most reliable rumours say it will be in November or December 2007. See the ITN schedule below. For history on this incredible event check the following links:

The best place to get up to the minute information on ITN rallies is NASIOC - SCIC. Just look for a thread by "Rapid Roo" with ITN in the title. Late Feb., 2007
TRAINING WHEELS
6 hour Monte Carlo style navigational Road Rally.
with 2 hour Navigator training class.
First Car out at 2:01pm.
Start will be in the Escondido area.
Entry fee $10. ($5 for beginners, free is either person in the car is a first timer.)

ANGELS CROWN
8 hour Monte Carlo style navigational Road Rally.

Okay, so what about stuff happening up in this area?

Check out the Porsche club, Zone 7 Rallye series. They have fun, challenging rallies and they are a very friendly, welcoming group of car enthusiasts. I'm sure OldGuySTI from this board will chime in at some point.
