While there is very little traffic here on i-club compared to the past, there are several active meets in the Bay Area. As pingupenguins stated, check the fb page. Because I don't do social media, I couldn't tell you much on that front.

And as also noted, this Contra Costa county meet--while not weekly... 'tis closer to monthly (ain't nothing wrong with that)--seems to be the closest to you. So mos def keep an eye on it, as the meets seem to be put together w/ about a week's notice. I've yet to make it out to the recent revival of this area meet, but I'm hoping I can soon.

Also, I'd recommend checking CalTrans road conditions before heading out. You never know if this latest round of rains will wreak havoc on already saturated hillsides & whatnot. I know there's currently a one-lane closure on Hwy-128 due to a mudslide. And although this doesn't affect your route, this incident is not that far from it.

On my way home to V-town from H-town that evening, I'll swing by for a bit. Prolly 7:30ish. I plan to do a day trip on Fri, so it'll be a quick "meet & greet" for me. It'll be nice to finally make this CoCo county reboot meet and put faces/real names to i-club handles.

 

It'd be great to meet you and maybe we can plan a snowboarding trip!

Hey guys, so I'll officially be moved up to walnut creek from vegas on Feb. 8th, but my parked car just got rear ended by an elderly man in a parking lot and I'm going to have to have it repaired up there.

What's the best body shop in that area?

 

I just used Mikes Auto Body in Lafayette, just around the corner from Walnut Creek, they were slow but did a good job. I found a few things more after the work was done and I had no problem getting the car back to them and getting the other stuff fixed as well.

 

Forgot to mention I have some swag too.
