You guys gotta drop me a line one of these times. I need to make that drive with you guys.

I really need to do some work on my car first though. Time just hasn't been there. I just got my clutch though. All I need now are new new rear endlinks and my trans/dif fluid and I have all I need for this round of repairs...

Tires
Suspension
Exhaust
turbo
fog lights
clutch
trans
dif.

Need some brake parts still for the next round. LOL!

Hopefully that'll be it for this year as I'm gonna either by a house or a forester XT in the next year. LOL.

Yeah you were heading down 10th in to gilroy.

I was standing there next to our forester with my wife and daughter. I whistled at you but I suck at the whistling. LOL. You sat at the light too.

No... I bought my wife a forester base model last year. It's a really nice car.

I'm actually looking at a couple foresters right now. One is red but the dude said he'd throw in a half roll of flat black vinyl so I could probably finish the car off with another roll so like... $3-400 I'd have a flat black FXT. LOL! I'm looking at a pretty nicely modified one and one that's near stock with under 20k miles on it. Just trying to figure out what I can get out of my wagon. I might just fix it and clean the hell out of it and toss a for sale sign on it at BAM. LOL! See what I can get out of it and then look at what's still available. It seems that prices on FXT's are starting to drop but they go up and down all the time. I've seen probably... 6 of them sell in the last month and the prices have ranged from $15k for an insanely nice one to $21k for a relatively stock one. Seems to me that for lower miles you're looking at about $17 for one right now. $12 if it's an 05. I'm only looking at 05-08.

And no I don't live in Gilroy. My buddy and his girl live right there and we were heading in for a BBQ at their place.

Might have to swing by. Maybe I could talk them in to doing the timing belt as part of the purchase and hook me up with a warranty of some kind.

I looked at that forester. It has a brand new short block and turbo. They did the work and offer a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. It is not a bad buy, but if the engine blew, I don't understand why they just didn't replace the whole thing. The transmission felt a little sloppy too. Other than that it is pretty clean!

I almost traded in my CR-V for it, but it has more miles than I want.
