So I got back from my alignment yesterday... Noticed one thing when I got my car worked on.. Guy said he physically could go lower then -1.2 in the rear ( I did not have my camber bolts on) how is that possible? So he ended up sound -1.2 in the rear and -2.2 in the front because he couldn't ... He adjust my front camber by moving my camber plates.. I read that he should have move in all my negative (front) camber in the front by using the camber bolts STis come with up front... Then move the camber plates... Instead he MAXED out all my camber in the front.. Me no like this...
What the ****. He didn't give you the specs you asked for. I'd go back and tell them to fix it.
The specs you've got are actually pretty sweet. I usually run really close to that in the summer. But you will eat tires up front a lot quicker. I'd rotate every oil change for sure.
And yes he should have zero'd out and used your bolts to get the camber. Start there and then use the plates to dial in any extra you may want or toe/caster.
As for the rear. You can get a TON of negative camber in the rear of our cars... even stock. They are designed and put on the streets with a lot of negative in the rear. So if you have bolts in the rear you could probably dial in well over -3 if you wanted... only the hella flush guys want it. it's doodoo.
So yeah... you're specs are pretty good but they're more aggressive than what you wanted. I'm guessing you're tramming more and probably have to pay more attention to the wheel at all times... even cruising straight on the highway.
I'd go back and tell the dude you asked for blah blah... got blah blah... and don't like it. Tell him to fix it. You should be able to dial the negative camber back in the rear easy and the fronts too.
What he should have done and what I always tell the guys working on my car to do... start in the front. See how close to the numbers I'm requesting you can hit... then I adjust the rear numbers to hit.
With camber plates and bolts front and rear you could probably run like -4 up front and -3 in the back pretty easily. LOL... but that's silly if you're not driving on laguna.
I bet it feels much snappier though... lift oversteer... be very careful lifting in the corners.

Trip out on this... Went to pasillas cause my friends works there. Just saw -1.8 on the rear..front drivers side -2.9..front passenger side -1.9... Wtf. I went in there heated but respectful. Didn't matter still got into it with the "cholo" that did my alignment... Real close to choking this idiot out... Big long story... Anyways cops got there.. Got my money..now I have an app tomorrow @9am with Orlando... Note to myself.."if your gonna do something, do it right the first time aka don't let a beeener work on your STI.. He blamed me because he maxed out my to camber plates (-) Instead of the bottom camber first.. Then top to dial in. I had told him that I put them in (coilovers).. So the bottom camber bolts would be off.. So his reason for only going -1.9 in the front instead of -2.9 like the drivers side was because that's all he could get with the camber plates.. Duhh idiot properly adjust the bottom bolts and maybe you would get more negative with the plates!!! The bottom bolts are obviously off pendejo! Told orlando that beeners couldn't align my car .. He cracked up lol
