I think it's sold already but I might.

Mine has 210k on it. I've been toying with just selling the car but I could always pick up the block just in case I keep it. Then just sell the block if I don't use it.

I just don't want people thinking I'm using BAM money so I'm hesitant to spend money on anything so close to the event. If I buy this motor it will come from a savings account I have set aside for a new car or a house down payment.... the same one I borrowed $3500 from to get things going for BAM in the first place. LOL (still haven't paid it back yet, I'm still heavily out of pocket.)

I just don't want to hear it. There's nothing I hate more than having my integrity challenged.

So I may just pass on it. I'm 95% sure at this point I'm going FXT anyways.

Man that looks terrible. The new platform is just not set up for that kind of deal. I don't see those EVER being sold.

In order to make the new platform make any sense with that set up it needs to be substantially lowered and more body kit pieces added. They look great that way but subaru won't do anything that aggressive and SOA won't bring them over anyways. Besides the fact that they're all auto trans only. The platform as it currently stands will NEVER go in that direction. They made a dramatic shift of focus when they went to the current set up of all the cars.

The forester/outback are big *** family cars. The imreza is a commuter car. The STI/WRX are the sports cars. I don't know why they bother with that ****.

What they need to do is figure out how they're going to get an STI version of the BRZ out and what they're gonna do with the STI/WRX in general.

I actually like it. With tint and a sport grille it would be sweet. If they insist on AUTO only I hope they atleast give it flappy paddles

Needs more low. All the black needs to be body color. The grill MUST be the sport grill. Handles need to be body color. Etc.

But it'll never happen. They'd have to charge something like $38k for it.

And at $38k you're getting really close to cars like Mercedes GLK350 which is a MUCH better vehicle.

Unless they did it stripped down. Like a sports class. No leather. No sunroof. None of the limited options... etc. Basically strip it down enough to put the price point close to the limited XT. Then it might sell. But even then... it's only an auto. So it still won't sell.

When they did the forester XT sport those things just SAT on lots. Subaru had a blue one for well over 6 months. (2008)

I don't see them ever getting back in to the XT Sport/XTI type of thing. Not here anyways.

Be nice though. But then again I'm still a huge fan of the 08.
