The Marine reserve depo where the toys go, is closed sunday. So I will take them all up, and take them into the alameda reserve station on Monday or Tuesday if everyone is ok with that?

Well, looks like I'm even more likely to not attend this one Went to eye doctor yesterday for normal checkup and have to have unplanned eye surgery today for a detached retina. Had the same thing on my right eye last year and they mentioned then that the left was starting as well, but it looks like it got really bad really quick with this one. They considered it pretty serious so it has to happen right away. Out of commission for a few days

Good thing is, the right eye has been fine since they fixed it, which means prognosis is good for the other one.

Dang, John. Well, here's hoping that your eye magically heals up by Sunday. :-)

If not, heal up at home, watch movies, and take care of that sick wife!

Just want to send out a quick reminder than Alice's can be insane in the morning, so bringing your own breakfast might not be a terrible idea.

Additionally, this isn't a drive for hooning, idiocy, or stupidity. Spirited and safe driving are encouraged and required. Some people are bringing kids to this or their spouses, so drive like you had your kids in your own car, too.

She's already a lot better thanks to meds. For me, even though I sort of knew I would probably need to do this, it was unexpected that it got like that all of a sudden. Age sucks, but I looked it up and it said statistically less than 1/10th of 1% of people have this condition, so that's fun too.

Whether I am there or not, ^this^. 84 is a fun road but this time of year the road will likely be damp and 1 will also be likely to be foggy and damp in sections, so be very aware.
