Naa dude, just go smart and its plenty of power. I got to say I am blown away how fast the FXT is now. Just the other day some hosebeast bro in a mustang decided he wanted to cut me off. Dropped it to 3rd gear, got out in front no problem, just to watch him go ape **** and flip me off and turn red in rage. I LOLED and just kept going.

I'm due for a motor soon and I keep fighting myself on what to do.
Been kicking around the idea of doing a stroker or just tossing a stock EJ255 long block on there with a mild tune with my 18g.

rebuilt heads
Cosworth Head gaskets(this is a MUST DO)
ARP head studs (this is a MUST DO)
Walbour(sp) fuel pump
OEM injectors
VF 39 Turbo
STI intercooler
Perrin intake pipe
Grimspeed up pipe
Cobb catted downpipe
Grimspeed crosspipe (not installed yet)
Cobb V3 accesspoint running OTS VF39 stage 3 tune (Jan/Feb going to Cobb in LA for custom tune)
Supporting mods:
Aluminum radiator (mushi..something)
Silicon Y pipe joints and intercooler connects.
I am shooting for 300WHP, with a reliability to get 150k out of it so every mod I do is aimed at that goal.

I'm running a stock EJ255 FXT motor with supporting mods. Just rolled 142k on it (bought it at 120k bone stock. Don't know if it's had a rebuild or a new trans or what, but the car was clean, so I assume it was well cared for.).
VF39
STI TMIC
Synapse Synchronic BPV
Perrin dual-catted DP
Milltek cat back
Cobb intake
Cobb AP with custom GST Tune
Mike at GST dyno'd it at 257whp and 259ft lbs. Said he was very happy considering the dual catted DP probably cost me some torque, and considering the mileage on the motor.
Pulls quite nicely.

FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
I just looked at the first page, I screwed up and put the 8th, a SUNDAY up, not the 7th a SATERDAY.
So I leave it up to everyone, do we keep it the 8th or move this to the 7th?
