first annual Fozzie run!
Ok folks, its been bantered about, lets get one together.
The run: The Route
The Date: December 8th
Time: 8am, we leave at 8:30
Where to meet: 2920 S Norfolk St, San Mateo, Chase bank parking lot.
What to bring:
1) Full tank of fuel! we won't be stopping near fuel tell we hit Santa Cruz. E85 people may want to bring some spare fuel in a can, if you do not own a safe approved can, let me know I will loan you one of my rotopax cans.
2)FRS/FMRS/GMS radio: if you have one, bring it, this will help us all stay in contact.
Who is invited: Of course all Foresters, but we will not exclude anyone, so bring your WRX, your STI, your WRX wagon, whatever you got. lets try to keep this a pure Subaru run but again, NO ONE WILL BE EXCLUDED...unless you can't keep up, and I am going to suggest the foresters lead the way.
As the title says, I would like to make this a once a year run. This is a TOYS FOR TOTS run, the US Marines collect toys every year. So please if you can bring a unwrapped toy, and at the end of the run, we can go to the recruiting station in San Jose and leave the pile of toys we collect up there.

Lets see how many are down for this, we could make it a "toy" run, and everyone has to bring a unwrapped toy we could all donate to the Marines toys for tots program.

Ya know guys, I also have a few contacts in the wounded solders program, I am curious if we did a run, how many of you might be open to having a solder ride shotgun with you?

Bear, I'm in. BUT, I work a day job, and I work on the weekends as a photographer.
The bright side? Winter is great with overcast/foggy lighting for photographs. After the third weekend in November, the weekends are mostly free for me.
I suggest an early morning meet up, drive, maybe stop for gas/a snack/ then drive some more. Spirited drive up 92 and then into HMB, then down 1 and back over 9 from Santa Cruz into Saratoga would be great.
