It's funny, cops won't get called unless the lot does. But.... modified cars = exhaust = noise = follow the noise = hahah oh whoop.

I posted the permit and $$$ info for having an Event on treasure island, the organizer finally grew a brain, contacted them, and realized "oh gee, it costs $1,500+ to have an event on TI in their parking lot"
just because a parking lot is open to the public doesn't mean you can have a huge car club event there herp derp!

so he tried looking for other places to go, and found a "public lot" (it's still private property) in SF that is used by the giants ballpark.
he thinks, once again, because it's open to the public that it's perfectly fine to host an event there!

the senior operations manager for that parking lot is trying to get in contact with him to tell him to either pay a lot of money for an event, or move it elsewhere

he'll probably update it again tonight

maybe he can make it a location that we can actually HAVE an event at?

Man, I am all for car shows/events/get togethers, but it seems this guy is going about it the worst possible way. I guess he hasn't heard the Economic 101 concept of "there is no free lunch"?

I just looked that up after reading your post, and you could only put like 80~ cars total on each side plus the court!
use the cars in the satellite photo as reference for size
317 Arelious Walker Drive, San Francisco, CA - Google Maps

there is no way you could have "the biggest" meet there

looks like a nice street with nobody around for street races tho
