I think any of those dates work for me, but the earlier the better weather-wise. Lets nail down a date soon Pete!
Oh, and don't forget the t-shirt this weekend

I'm afraid the T-shirt is with Hoche and he's in Finland this weekend so I won't be able to deliver it to you Brian.
Still awaiting my work assignments for September, but I'm thinking the RRRRATC9 will likely take place October 1. Does that work for everybody?

I flaked last year. Really wanted to go. I'll see if I can make it happen. Sept is definitely out for me. I have to get up to the cabin with a chain saw for a couple weekends for winter prep.

I think October 1st will work for me too. I'll double check the calendar when I get home, but I don't foresee any problems with that date.

I am no go for the 10/1. But I've also gotten to run in this event before so if it doesn't work out I'll still be okay.

I don't see your PM, maybe try again or post your questions here, if you have a question chances are that others are wondering the same thing...
I have a 2011 STI and I was wondering if there are some specific modifications to be done to the car like
1. Roll cages
2. Skid plates
3. Fire extinguishers etc.
Also when will the dates be finalized, i need to apply for time off accordingly
Thanks

Not needed, speeds are all assigned at or below speed limits, and apart from deer and one wayward Honda, we have a pretty clean safety record on this event.
Not a bad idea- anytime you drive on gravel roads you have a chance of kicking stones up into places you'd rather not have them, we try to pick roads where a skid plate or diff guard aren't needed, so if you don't have 'em, it probably isn't going to pose any problem, if you do have that stuff, then you most definitely won't have any problem- But there is no technical requirement for such.
Again, it's always a good idea top carry an extinguisher, car fires always start small and can usually be put out if caught quick with an extinguisher- without one they will totally destroy your car, so while we don't have a technical requirement, I'd highly advise investing in one or two for each of your cars.
We also suggest having at least one full sized spare- flats are not uncommon, and the donut might get you back to town, but you'd probably rather have a real tire.
At this point I'm still trying to see who will run when, if I can get a group of 5 or more cars all good with one date, that will probably be it- Oct 1 still seems like it may be it, but I'd like to hear if any other date works better for more people.
Since I plan to start Saturday morning in Fortuna this year, plan on about a 5 hour drive up there Friday night, and getting a hotel room- or see if you can crash on a couch someplace up there, Saturday we will be camping, Sunday is usually a free day for the trip home

Thanks a lot Pete, I am totally in.
I am planning to attend the Rally school in Oregon from 7-9 October so Oct 1st will work best for me.
SO for time being I'll be glued to this thread
