nico are you nico turbine or somethin on the other forums that i have talked to before with the black legacy and a fmic.
right now I am running an autronic ecu. I like it I just havn't spent much time tuning it. I will be getting a laptop soon so I'll let you know after I have that a while. oh some hks headers, stromung turboback, and a vf23 to name a few. I am getting injectors, fuel pump, and sti 6 spd tranny and cusco difs f&r w/dccd in soon. I'll run around 20 psi with this turbo. then I'm gona dyno and tune it. if it is not enought power I'm gona build the engine for 30psi (with a different turbo)

hey nico, I thought that was you. I' ve always liked yuur legacy as well. very nice bc. I love the hks headers. I love the sound. they give the boxer (imho) a smoother and quieter sound.
they gave noticeably more power. especially at the mid and top end with no noticeable loss in the low end and there perty.
are you getting a new age wrx 5 spd tranny with 3.90 gearing.
I have always heard the legacy tranny was slightly stronger but I don't know for sure since I have not tested both under the same power load. my tranny had 55k miles on it when I got it and
I have put about 7k miles on it. I have had no problems with it but I really baby it. let me know how the wrx tranny works out for you. the ecu is not easy. but if you know what you are doing you could do it yourself. i would really recomend it this was my firstchange I made to the engine and at stock boost levels there was substantial power gains. even at 4psi it was considerabally faster than stock. I'm in use. oregon to be exact.
pm me sometime with questions and
prices on parts. I could help you out. I will be starting a business specializing in this stuff soon. but I am trying to finish my car first. I'll fill you in more on that over pm.
what kind of boost are you runnin. I once knew what turbo that was. I just can't remember right now. I know somewhere I have some littereature that says what turbo was on the 88 tbird tc. I'll see if I can't find it. let me know if you have any other questions or you can pm me.

hey nico. thanks. how are things goin.
I don't know For sure. I think gc impreza bars will fit I am gona get some and try some. I think I can get some bc leg. bars from japan. but I don't know the price yet. I'll find out for you. it could take a few days.
I have liked this set up alot. i am not quite done with it. I have a few more things I want to do to make it support around 20 psi safely. I'll post some dyno sheets when I get that done. hopefully in 2-3 weeks. but we'll see. it's all comin out in about 1-2 months. the sti 6spd has beeen in customs for a while. so hopefully soon. and i am having an engine built right now. it is aprox. 2.6 litres and utilizing a modified version of the v.8 sti vvt heads. I am very excited about this engine. it has been written up in a magazine. i am trying to find it. when I do I'll let you know so you can read about it if you would like. I'll check on those sway bars and get back to you. also what struts and springs are you using? kelley.

Would a starion FMIC work? I have a WRX intercooler but I was curious if this might work better or I would be able to route it w/o getting rid of the AC

Thanks

Hi Kelley, I'm keen to install a FMIC for my BC...could you please tell me

the IC's total size,
piping's size,
the angles you have and
how many pieces in all?

Anything else you have to cut off?

Thanks.
