New skool legacy rims on old skool legacy?

New skool legacy rims on old skool legacy?
I've been looking for a new set of rims for my wagon, so I figured I could find some nice later-model Legacy GT rims or something, rather than going all out for aftermarket (low budget for me anyway)
I found a set of 1998 Legacy rims, the 8 split-spoke style. I was wondering if these would fit on my car no-questions-asked. I was looking at my wheel wells earlier and it looks like the 16" size could be had (14" stock now), as long as I got some lower profile tires.
Any answers/suggestions are appreciated.
