I have a 93 legacy automatic that is in need of a new tranny. I found one for a 93 legacy automatic turbo...would this be an easy match? I just started researching this, but thought I would put this out there to see if anyone know off hand. If this is not a good thing to do, does anyone know a good place to find a cheap '93 auto tranny?

 

The transmissions should be similar, but unless the transmission from the Turbo is low-mileage or a recent rebuild, it'll have problems as well. The 4EAT is good for 120-150k miles before they have serious problems.

I swapped to a 5MT, but that may not be an option for you.
