My auto to 6 speed was fairly straight forward. Your clutch master cylinder mounting location will be there on the fire wall. I don't know the specs on the leggy but ensure your rear diff ratio and trans match or it'll be bad day.

Interior wise you will need to source out the clutch pedal and parts and gearshifter and panel pieces around it.

What pedal assembly do you have? Not sure if the Legacy would fit. You would have to test fit that or do research on the legacy forums.

Not sure of the legacy pedal set but wrx and Sti mounting holes had to be notched a little. Also u will need a pedal adapter if you go DBW.

Seems like he has the complete legacy swap, so I'm guessing he has the pedal assembly also.

I know the best and easiest way. Sell the car. Buy one that is manual. Problem solved.

Actually I may have the clutch pedal assembly from a WRX. I got it in a purchase when I bought a WRX subframe for my Forester (planning WRX swap) but my Forester is already a 5-speed so I don't need it. I can confirm tomorrow if I have it or not if you still need it.
