Help I Need More Power!

Heyy i have a 2000 legacy gt limited and the power i lacking...its pretty embarrising when your making less than 200 hp...its bone stock and i wanted to start a project and do an engine swap...at first i was lookin at the STI ej25 but was told that id have to do alot of mods to with the ECU and what not...what would be a good engine with good power that i could drop in? and where could i find one? thanks!

well I hate to be the one to tell you but there isn't one. all of the tubro motors will fit but they all require major re-wiring along with new ecu. there are a cupple of tubro kits on the market. but be for worned these will need a piggyback ecu like the greddy emanage or a stand-a-lone ecu to tune it and do the timing, also the ej25 na motors have a problem with the head gaskits they tend to blow them out after about 95k if you still are thinking of doing eatheir one of these check out these sites www.sl-i.net there is a swaps/converson section that has some info there and the site is all legacys the other is www.rs25.com they also have a lot of good info in there swaps/convertions page.
