04cali's build #2 with more mods, more boost, and more fun!

I picked her up late Last Wednesday night at EQ tuning and I have nothing but a smile on my face every time I get into the car and start it up! I would really to say thank you billion times over to Ed and the Staff at EQ Tuning. Without the hard work, time, blood, sweat, and my tears this car would never be what it is today. I can honestly tell you this this build has no cut corners, only the best and most though about parts were put into the car. Talk about customer service!!!

Thanks again guys so much!!

A small list of the mods, I'm sure Ed will also fill you in with stuff that I have left out...

1. CP 100mm pistons, pins, rings
2. ALC bearings race series ej257 rod, main,thrust #5 position
3. Machine shop work….. Inspect, clean, magnaflux, bore, hone, deck ej257, calance and polish crank, balance rod, line hone mains, clearancing block for new rods.
4. Manley H-Beam connecting rods for ej257
5. EQ Tuning stage 2 shortblock build
6. DeachWerks 850cc top feed injectors
7. RPS MAX series clutch with street disk ( kicks ***!)
8. APS Hard turbo inlet (black)
9. ATP GT3076 stock location turbo with Crucial Racing port polish & coat turbo
10. GrimmSpeedb up & downpipe gaskets
11. Machine shop 5 angle valve job
12. Cosworth billet timing belt guid
13. Bryan Crower camshafts 2/272’s
14. Bryan Crower single spring titanium retainer kit
15. Black TurboXS FMIC
16. Perring downpipe
17. Tomei header with up pipe
18. NGK Spark plugs
19. Cosworth head gasket

^ the engine only has 180 miles on it right now so it has not been on the dyno yet..

i know how that goes...... i had to do the same exact thing when i had my new block put in. so your driving around on some crappy base tune map huh? unless you had that turbo set up before the new engine.

no the tune is not really crappy, but it is set to 5500rpm and 12 psi of boost...

On 91 I would say 360-380whp but dyno #'s is not what's it's all about. If I wanted to play let's have huge whp all I need is some c16 lol
