^ I guess... it's also how you drive the car and if you shift light or hard. I will be getting a 6 speed after winter.

^ the car has been done for over 3 months... I just have not got the right exhaust to make the power I need so me and the team at EQ are working on something that can keep my car quiet but let my gt30 breath right.

Matt's car made 280whp on wastegate boost but wouldn't make more than about 310whp as we turned things up. He currently has a very restrictive exhaust on the car and it seems that we found the flow limits of it at around 310whp. The larger turbos are very sensitive to flow restrictions, so we have to free up the exhaust side to see the full power potential of the setup.
Thanks

Why a stock location turbo and not rotated? Are you not restricting your airflow especially with such a built engine by using a stock location/size turbo inlet? Your set up is just asking for a big MAF.

Why a stock location turbo? The answer is really an easy one, the ATP stock location turbos work great, fast spool, huge power and a nice stealth look. Every atp turbo tuned has made great power on 91 or race gas. I'm also not using a stock size/location turbo inlet. I'm also running something better than a big MAF, I'm running a blow through MAF and that pulls air from my fmic piping, that gives a real reading of the air for tuning, not picking up a reading from the hot *** air from the engine bay.

Sorry if that was a stupid question, I never cared much for power given that even my old set up has way too much for a street driven car...Speaking of which, what are your plans for the rest of the car? You got to have some serious plans to match that engine and keep everything nicely balanced?

There are no significant gains from going rotated until you go with a much larger turbo. All these stock location GT variants have a 3" inlet and well sized housings.
Matt is running our custom Blow-Through MAF pipe for the TXS/SSAC FMIC setups. This housing can support up to about 500whp of airflow before saturating the MAF sensor.
Thanks

Stock location turbos are getting very nice these days. Even the larger stock location 35r works very well. Check this out: https://www.i-club.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=242

Thanks for helping m out Ed I'm still working on getting the best 3" exhaust I can without it being really loud.
