HSPN TV: How-To / Install of LED Lighting on a 2006 STI
Today, HSPN TV, a division of HSPN Networks, released a how-to installation video of LED lighting from www.leddomelight.com on a 2006 STI. The LED lights significantly improved the poor interior lighting of the stock vehicle. The before and after images seen in the video are taken from stills of the video camera.

I posted this elsewhere too, but perhaps this would have been a more logical place to say this...
I got these for my 04 (just the dome lights, wasn't sure if the map lights were the same as the STi or not, since I have the moonroof controls in the middle of mine).
Anyways, yes they are expensive for what you get, and yes, they are brighter...
BUT the light that they cast is quite a bit bluer than I had expected and since the interior of my WRX is black, the blue light on a black surface doesn't really do much better in terms of lighting. Actually, I think it is worse than the standard OEM yellowish light... kinda like blue headlights vs yellow fogs if you get my drift. The yellow light really does help better with distinguishing different surfaces and patterns, at least in a dark environment.
My $0.02
