i was wondering how you take your emblems off on the trunk.

use your hair dryer......then fishing line or dental floss ... and goo gone.. for the rest of the sticky stuff....

wash and wax.. your trunk should look new and clean..

or if the fishing line or dental floss is cutting into you... I used ribbon and it worked out pretty well. It held up longer than the others and was easier on the fingers....

Goo gone works great just like shicane said....

fishing line i believe i got the 5lb lines.. use a sawing motion keeping the line close the the letters. use the CITRUS powered goo gone to remove remaining adhesive. wash n wax your done!

First I parked my car in the sun, the used dental floss, wrapped it around two pencils (after cutting into my hand.) Then I used the 3M bug tar remover to clean off the goo. Finished it up with alittle wax.

You couldnt tell that it was there except for the small chip. I tried to pry off the "X" and it scratched the trunk just a bit (you can only see it, if your looking for it.)
