why don't you find one used tire simular in tread pattern and wear, that way they will be almost alike, this will get you by, then when it comes time to replace all four you're good to go.

Why don't you put 2 or 3 less psi in it?

if you get them shaved, see if they will heat cycle them as well. much more consistent right away.

I can't believe how dumb Subaru owners are turning out to be. Inflation pressure has a direct correlation on overall diameter... you know... revolutions per minute, and all that jazz?

Option 1: Buy tire, waste more money to have it shaved and vodoo heat cycled

Option 2: Buy tire, put it on in the fastest wearing position on the car, and put 2 or 3 psi less than the other tires in it

Half of you morons wear out your fronts 50% faster than the rears... and does the center diff break? Nope...

abso****inglutely retarded...

you never thought that having one tire 3psi different from all the rest would affect handling?

Yeah, you are going to spin out of control and start flipping over! Are you for real?

Maybe there is a language barrier thing going on. I mean 3 psi less as in less than the other tire on the same axle. It does not mean you should run less than the recommended pressure in any tire... adjust the other tire's pressure as needed. You aren't supposed to have the same pressure in all 4 tires, anyway. For instance, Subaru recommends more pressure in the front than the rear, due to weigh bias.

Pressure is almost always manipulated in race cars to give the car desired bias in turns.
