As most of us know the 2000 impreza's headlights and running lights are supposed to turn off when the car is turned off. Well mine are not, they are staying on. I have been told that it could be the actual headlight, blinker switch and to my knowledge it is a whole module that hooks to the steering column. Any thoughts????????? I have also checked into it being the alarm and it wasnt that.

 

Flip the switch on top of the steering column, which you must have accidentally bumped at some point.

 

you are the man... hahaha i cannot believe that didnt check that stupid switch. I LOVE THIS WEB SITE. i cut wires to my alarm and everything trying to fix it and it was just that rocker switch. man that kills me ... thank you
