Lightbulb Parking lights wont turn off

Sup guys my cousin 2000 Impreza RS parking lights wont turn off even when the car is off and the swith is to off.
The only way to shut it off now is to take out the fuse.
I checked all the fuses and the light bulbs are all still good.
I forgot the name of the fuse I took out but its the one inside the cars coin holder on the top row second right side if that made any sence lol.

^ ya what he said

You can turn off the lights with the **** on the turn signal

but theres also a switch ontop of the steering wheel. It can sometimes get hit and it will turn the parking lights on regardless if the car is on/off

Haha! I found out about this when I first picked up my car. I guess the guy didn't know about the switch on the steering column so he took the fuse out. I had fun trying to figure out why the lights wouldn't go off after I replaced the fuse. My wife looked it up online and told me about the switch.

Never happened to me because I played with that switch when I first got my car and realized what it did. However, I did mess up when I moved that switch that turns off your trunk pop.

What is the point of that switch anyway, never have I been in the situation where I was like " you know what, I really need to keep my parking lights on for an extended period of time. I sure am glad I have this fancy switch..."

It's a requirement in some countries to leave your parking lights on when you park to increase visibility of your parked car. Hence the name "parking lights". Parking park park parker

Hmmmm...I wonder how that'd look on a street. Kind of like christmas lights if everyone has to do that.
