does anybody know where I could get just the lhd mask for the jdm hid headlights?

I want to convert my rhd units but I don't want to grind the mask down to do it. Any ideas?

the thread owner on scoobymods is one brave man. i'm a wuss...i bought a set of edm's rather than dismantle jdm's and grind them down. that is an expensive set of lights to mod w/out knowing the shape of the edm mask.

actually after looking into it the edm lhd mask isn't much better than the rhd mask.

basically the lhd mask shines high on the right to light up street signs on their narrow roads.. the jdm rhd mask is the same thing but on the left side. in the US we have multilane highways and having the pattern high one either side would just shoot somebody in the face thru one of their side mirrors. the us beam pattern should be flat, so I'm just going to have the shadow plate milled flat at the cutoff.

 

that's actually a good idea as i have noticed the high cutoff to the right on my EDMs. i also drove an audi w/HIDs the other night...the cutoff pattern there is flat and the lighting on the audi is concentrated on the ground.
