installing laminßx

when i used the soap-water trick, everzthing seemed fine. but when i left it over night, white film blotches was all over the place. it looked like condensation or something all over the film. so i just tossed it and ordered another pair. what did i do wrong_ how did that happen_

I'm not familiar with this product. How about a brief description of what it does? Product web site link? Is it similar to the 3M Scotchguard or Stongard paint finish protection?

Of course I can't find the website when I need it but from my recollection, the white blotches are normal and will generally disappear after a couple of days?!?
